<b>The Moon, the Wolf, and the Sorcerer Chapter 1: A lonely night in the woods.. There she stood around midnight with her four paws on the cliff, preparing to gaze upon the glimmering rock to howl. As her face glanced upwards she realized a rare sight: the moon was not glowing. This common wild wolf was ordinary and had nothing that stood out to the rest of her kind; however, she was bewildered by what she was seeing. The brown whiskered pup understood this was not natural, and suspected to be the art of dark magic. Chapter 2: The sorcerer's agenda At the same time, a man covered with a silver hooded cloak is standing at the edge of a high mountain. He can be seen chanting words of different nature. Behind him lays a surging hot cauldron, within the bowl lies what seem to be our burning Sun. Chapter 3: The race The wolf began to look for the mystery that surrounds the lost of light from the moon. She ran across the open field where she could see a clear view of her surrounds, and the sky. She thought to herself the place where a magic user would effect the moon the most. She glances left, then right, and then she lets loose an angry growl: she saw light emitting from the peak of the tallest mountain. She was racing against time as each passing minute, the world seems to get only darker. The moon was nearly a pitch black onyx of a rock now. As she sprints towards her objective, she began to smell a strong odor that gets only mighty as she draws near. Chapter 4: The encounter The little brown wolf was panting and exhausted from all the rush. She was finally at the top where the cauldron could be seen. Smoke was fuming towards the sky, stealing all the light that is left of the moon. It was finally pitch-black. No sight of the sorcerer around and all the pup could see was the contained Sun-light in the cauldron. But like all dog-type animals, they have a strong scent of smell. And the reek of pure evil could not escape the wolf. She quickly dashes towards the side before the sorcerer could ambush her. Without her sight, she closes her eyes and focuses her nose. The wolf then stationed herself parallel to the cauldron, just a bit ahead of it. A whimper could be heard within the obscurity. The sorcerer thought the pup had given up as he rushes towards the 4-legged creature. - Slash.. boom - The body of the sorcerer was now inside the cauldron that has fallen over. Half his body burned while the liquid of the Sun is rapidly fading towards the sky. The Moonlight slowly luminates into full colour. The wolf had waited for her prey to attack before pouncing his arm and throwing him in his demise. Chapter 5: The end Tired and banged up, the wolf rests her head on the tip of the mountain cliff yet again. Too tired to roar up a howl, she gently looks above the sky, aiming her eyes at the moon. After a few seconds, she smiles and closes her eyes, preparing to nap. A well rest deserved for a pup that did not know the peace and joy she had brought back to the world. All she wanted was to howl again. -powpow | |
